Temping is the process of hiring temporary workers for a particular duration of time for a specific project and remain in the company till the project lasts. The temps work for any of the client Companies while being on rolls of Handiman Services Limited. Generally the contract would range from 3 months to 24 months.
The relationship between the Client Company and Handiman is captured in a Customer Service Agreement known as CSA. The CSA establishes a three party relationship whereby as the Temping Company Handiman acts as the employer of the temporary employee who works at the clients premises. Under the CSA as the temping company Handiman assumes responsibility for the personnel administration and compliance for most employment related government regulations, while the client retains the employee’s services in its business and remains the employer for various other purposes.
No need to bother about motivation, career planning and performance evaluation for temps.
Enhancing the client to identify and respond to short-term temporary or flexible manpower needs with specific skill requirements or for supplementing the workforce. These services could be availed for a project of part-time, full-time or job sharing nature.
In this option the client would be able to transfer the already identified employee onto the rolls of Handiman. This would enable to the client to enter into a co-employment relationship between Handiman – Client – Employee In which Handiman would be managing and administering all the payroll and regulatory services. Contract duration could be short term, part time, long term and permanent
Client companies can opt to enter into assignments for long-term or indefinite periods of time with Handiman temps/Associates. Under this option the client and Handiman will enter into an indefinite agreement where the associates being on the payroll of Handiman will be employed for a long term assignment or project in the client premises.
The client can hire candidates as temporary employees for a trial period of employment, after a satisfactory trail period, a company has the opportunity to add the temporary worker to its permanent staff, by moving the employee from Handiman Payroll to that of the client’s permanent payroll.
Handiman provides the onsite management of the contingent workforce at the client facility on demand. It retains the responsibility for the supervision and management of the associates as well as the accountability for the results of the business or function that is being leased.
